Neal Schon and fiancee Michaele Salahi's whirlwind romance is leaving some very important people out in the cold -- chief among them Schon's ex-wife Amber Kozan and his two young daughters, according to reports.
The Journey guitarist, who popped the question to an excited Salahi back in October, has reportedly left Kozan so broke that she's been forced to put her $500,000 Minnesota home up for sale.
"Pray for a quick sale," she wrote on her Facebook page, according to the UK's Daily Mail. Kozan's mother, Judy Kozan, took to her blog in a since-removed post to slam her former son-in-law, calling the guitarist "little more than a sperm donor with an inadequate monthly check."
And Schon's new bride-to-be, 47-year-old reality star Salahi, is nothing more than a "no-talent, celebrity wannabe," the elder Kozan wrote. Judy later posted an explanation for removing her harsh words.
"I've taken down my nameless 'Just when I thought it was safe…' post, since some people have been making wild assumptions, and spinning it in a way that I never intended," she wrote.
In the posts, Judy also slammed Schon for providing no support for his family even though he had just presented his new fiancee with an engagement ring reportedly worth $1 million.
"This time he will cause his 2 little girls to lose their home. He knows this, but he just doesn't care," she wrote. "As I write this, his lying has put his ex in a situation where she literally has no money for food, gas for the car, bills, nothing."
The 58-year-old musician and Kozan, 33, were married for seven years and had two daughters together before calling it quits in 2008. Schon then famously took off with Salahi, a former Real Housewives of DC cast member, in September 2011. She was still married at the time to public official Tareq Salahi, 43 (the Salahis were the infamous "White House crashers" of 2009).
Tareq initially issued a report that his wife had been kidnapped, but later discovered that Schon and Salahi had been having an affair behind his back for the past two years.
In October, the controversial couple made their love official when Schon proposed to Salahi onstage during a show in Baltimore, Md.
"We are both excited and in love," Schon told Us Weekly. "We're happy that we shared with all who were there last night -- it was emotional, moving and loving. I'm glad Michaele's mother and family were there. Once in a lifetime!"
