It's no secret that Max Greenfield's scene-stealing "New Girl" character
Schmidt is a snazzy dresser, and now he's revealing the inspiration behind his
very GQ look in the show.
"I felt like Schmidt's style can be best described as he saw a Justin
Timberlake HBO special and did his best to kind of replicate that within a
budget," he tells InStyle.com. "And it didn't go well. And it's kind
of stayed on that level ever since."
... Well we can't all afford Tom Ford can we?
Though Greenfield's not the only one singing Timberlake's stylish praises as
"Mad Men" star Jon Hamm also recently revealed that he's a "big fan" of the
Suit & Tie singer.
"I think he's a trendsetter, as they say. But he's always been kind of a
natty dresser," he tells the AP. "[He's] a very fashion-forward kind of guy. ...
That one unfortunate picture of him in that denim tuxedo excused."
