Ron Swanson would be so ashamed.
Parks and Recreation star Nick Offerman--who plays Swanson, the ultimate mans' man (mustachioed libertarian, woodworker, meat-lover) on the hit NBC sitcom--recently set the internet abuzz when he stepped out with a bleach-blond 'do and matching beard.
Entertainment Weekly reached out to the star--wed to comedian Megan Mullally since 2003--for info about his shocking new look.
"Although I am changing my look drastically for a couple of roles this summer, I really was just looking to have more fun," Offerman, 42, explained to the mag about his dye job.
In addition to his beloved Parks & Rec role, Offerman recently appeared on the big screen in 21 Jump Street and Will Ferrell's Casa de mi Padre; the actor has also signed on to appear in an untitled Diablo Cody project, due out in 2013.
