Pete Wentz Will "Bring It" in Tweet War Vs. Rev Run
On your marks, get set, Tweet!
On February 2, four teams (led by their celebrity coaches, Nick Swisher, Pete Wentz, Rev Run and Serena Williams) will drive from various destinations to Dallas as part of the Mercedes-Benz Tweet Race to the Big Game.
How far they go each day depends on the amount of tweets, retweets and hashtags of their followers. The more Twitter action, the more miles the teams can drive.
And with just a few weeks until the start, the trash talking has already begun. "A few years back, over the holidays, my son Russy demolished Pete in air hockey. Expect the same thing from Russy's dad, Pete," Rev Run tells UsMagazine.com.
Wentz, however, isn't backing down. "Rev definitely has the upperhand on this race because he has a direct line to the big man in the sky, but I think I can bring it," he tells Us.
Each team receives a donation for their specified charity for participating, and the first-place duo also wins an additional donation (plus a brand new Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe).
