Jessica Simpson showed off her slim, toned legs in Los Angeles Wednesday, Oct. 24 while heading to the gym. The new mom looked ready for a tough workout, styling short shorts, a pink hoodie and sneakers.

With the help of Weight Watchers PointsPlus program and four-times-a-week training sessions with celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak, Simpson, 32, has already lost 60 of the 70 pounds she gained during pregnancy.

Since welcoming daughter Maxwell Drew six months ago with fiance Eric Johnson, the first-time mom has slowly been losing the baby weight. "She's so focused and determined," her Weight Watchers leader Liz Josefsberg tells the new issue of Us Weekly, out now. "She's very brave to do this in a healthy, more realistic way."

Although Simpson has a lot to smile about, the new mom looked somber during her outing. On Wednesday, her parents Joe and Tina Simpson confirmed to Us Weekly that they filed for divorce late last month after 34 years of marriage.

"It is an amicable split and there is no third party involved. Any other related allegations are completely false," a family rep told Us. "The family appreciates your respect for their privacy at this time."
