Pippa Middleton is officially ready for her closeup once again.
On Wednesday Sept. 5, one day before her 29th birthday, Duchess Kate's little sister continued her one-woman assault on the Big Apple.
After spending the Labor Day weekend flitting between Shelter Island in the Hamptons (where she played ping pong barefoot and hung with hotelier Andre Balasz) and Manhattan, the party planner and royal bridesmaid turned heads in Flushing, Queens for the U.S. Open.
The British socialite looked radiant in a bright yellow lace dress with three-quarter sleeves.
According to an onlooker, Pippa happily received well-wishes from fans and even posed for pictures -- and, in true fashion, seemed to enjoy the attention. (The star has been slowly creeping back into the spotlight following a late spring scandal in Paris, in which she laughed in a convertible while a pal pointed a toy gun at a photographer.)
Among Pippa's other NYC adventures? On Sept. 3, she introduced herself to Gossip Girl hunk Chace Crawford at hotspot Electric Room inside the Dream Downtown. "They didn't party together but they spoke for 10 minutes," an insider told Us Weekly exclusively. "They had never met before but Chace has met Prince Harry a couple times."
