A family picnic went sour for Charlize Theron and her 2-year-old son, Jackson.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's office was called on Nov. 13 to investigate a claim that Sean Penn and Charlize Theron were mistreating her son while the family was on a hike. But, according to TMZ, it was quickly determined by authorities that there was no wrongdoing.

Charlize told the woman to stay away from her son. The hiker did as asked, but called the police to investigate possible mistreatment of the toddler.
