A rep for Eve Plumb is denying a report that a rumored rift between Plumb and her former "Brady Bunch" castmate Maureen McCormick caused the cancellation of a "Brady" reunion planned for NBC's "Today" show this week.

Plumb's rep tells ET that the actress considered the offer to appear with her former castmates, but decided to decline. The rep explains that Plumb had spent close to two weeks in New York just last month (for a gallery opening of her artwork and a charity appearance), and she didn't wish to return so soon for what would have been a brief TV appearance.

The rep adds that Plumb did not intend to slight anyone.
