It seems that Kelly Osbourne is again in the middle of another controversial TV show exit.
According to the Daily Mail Online, Rosie Perez quit as host of "The View" and refused to show up for her final two tapings because producers forced her to apologize to Kelly on the air after Sharon Osbourne's daughter's comments about Latinos.
Rosie, the report said, used intense foul language at producers and vowed to never return.
Her rage stems from one on-air incident. Last week, while discussing Donald Trump's Presidential poll numbers during the Hot Topics segment of the show, Kelly said, "If you kick every Latino out of this country, then who is going to be cleaning your toilet, Donald Trump?"
Rosie, who has Puerto Rican heritage, mumbled: "Oh, that's not ... oh, no!" and shook her head in disbelief.
Kelly attempted to clarify her comments, but Rosie wasn't having it. Looking directly at Kelly, she said, "Latinos are not the only people doing that."
Kelly backtracked and tried to elaborate. "I didn't mean it like that! Come on, I would never mean it like that. I'm not part of this argument."
During a commercial break, producers allegedly cornered Rosie and demanded she apologize on the air. She did, but the new report says she did so fairly reluctantly. After the show, she was not pleased.
"She and the ABC executives had it out. She was yelling at them at the top of her lungs that their demands were disrespectful," a source said. "They were telling her that she better do exactly as they said. It was an ugly scene and Rosie was crying uncontrollably and outraged."
She then tweeted an apology to Kelly, but she only did so to appease ABC. Latinos felt she folded and they were not happy.
"I tweeted at #KellyOsbourne in an effort to help keep her from spiraling after her unfortunate comment. I went overboard with my apology- #mybad," Rosie tweeted in response to the criticism. "But I don't apologize for speaking up and calling her on it-mistake or not, it was offensive. And please don't ever question my support for mi gente... Ever."
In July, it was announced that Rosie was leaving the show, so her exit was known. Her early exit, however, was not planned.
This is the second time Kelly was involved in a controversial exit from a show. Earlier this year she left E!'s "Fashion Police" following a firestorm that erupted from Giuliana Rancic's joke about Zendaya Coleman's hair. After her exit, Kathy Griffin left, as well.
