Carrie Bradshaw and Charlotte York forever!
Former Sex and the City costars Sarah Jessica Parker, 47, and Kristin Davis, 47, both hit up the amfAR Inspiration Gala in L.A. October 11. "I'm in a lovely position of giving [talent agent] Kevin Huvane his Piaget Award of Inspiration tonight," a Chanel-clad Parker told Us Weekly on the red carpet.
When Parker spoke on stage later that evening, the actress -- who was Huvane's first client -- called her friend, 53, "the most polite New Yorker I've ever met." (The two have worked together for 26 years.)
Later that evening, Parker and Davis reconnected at the event's official after party at The Abbey Food and Bar, a popular West Hollywood gay and lesbian club.
"Kristin and Sarah were deep in conversation on the couch," an observer tells Us. "Kristin was petting Sarah's hair and was very affectionate. They stayed huddled together for all of their time at the table off of the dance floor."
(The ex-castmates have not been photographed together since their worldwide promotional tour for Sex and the City 2 in 2010. Davis became a first-time mom in 2011 when she adopted a daughter, Gemma; Parker has three children with her husband, Matthew Broderick, 50.)
Parker and Davis tried to leave the after party just after midnight, though they had to "brave a sea of eager fans" on their way out, per an observer. When asked about the possibility of shooting a third Sex and the City film earlier that night, a beaming Parker told Us, "I don't know!"
