See the Celebs Backing Barack Obama, Mitt Romney During Campaign Season
With just months to go before November's presidential race, both Barack Obama and Mitt Romney are seriously stepping up their campaign efforts -- and famous folks are picking sides.
In a new infographic on their site, CNN breaks down which celebs are throwing cash Romney's way -- and which ones are hoping for POTUS' reelection.
Among Obama's A-list backers? George Clooney (who hosted a massive L.A. fundraiser May 10, which netted almost $15 million for the Democratic candidate), Leonardo DiCaprio, Ellen DeGeneres, Eva Longoria, Sarah Jessica Parker, Steven Spielberg, Jada Pinkett Smith, and J.J. Abrams.
Some of the actors, Hollywood execs, and musicians who have contributed to the Romney presidential campaign include Jerry Bruckheimer, Donny and Marie Osmond, Gene Simmons, Donald Trump, and Chuck Norris. (CNN admits that most of Romney's supporters "come from banking rather than Broadway or Hollywood.")
Kid Rock isn't listed as having donated money to Romney's campaign, but the Detroit-born rocker performed at a fundraiser for the GOP presidential hopeful in February after Romney introduced him to the crowd as a "friend."
