The jig is up, Selena Gomez. Ellen's on to you.

When the Disney star appeared on Ellen DeGeneres' show last fall, she skirted the issue of her relationship with Justin Bieber by telling Ellen that Bieber was "like my little brother."

But like the rest of the world, Ellen saw the young pair attend the Vanity Fair post-Oscars party together, where they were caught sharing an innocent kiss and snapping pictures that smacked of a prom night photo op, as Dave Letterman astutely noted last week.

"He's like your little brother?" Ellen asked on Tuesday's show when Selena made a return appearance, according to People. "What do you have to say now?"

"I don't know. I don't know," the 18-year-old fumbled.

"You were trying to hide it still, right? But now you've made it public," DeGeneres pressed. "You went to the Vanity Fair [party together] and made me a fool," she joked.

A giggling Gomez insisted that she "really didn't," as Ellen continued to push her to admit something about their apparent relationship.

Finally, Selena offered, "He's just sweet." To which Ellen replied: "He's sweet as can be. But he's not like your little brother, is he? No, he's not. And he's a fantastic guy. You can't try to hide that forever ... A little brother is not someone you want to date."

Gomez acknowledged that "that would be weird," and in a show of support for whatever it is that's going on between the two, Ellen presented her guest with a gift -- a pillow emblazoned with a picture of Justin Bieber's face with a heart around it.
