Sharon Osbourne hated attending marriage counseling sessions with her husband Ozzy because the rocker would throw tantrums and whittle away the time with long bathroom breaks.
The couple attended joint sessions with a therapist in a bid to save their marriage after the rocker began drinking again in 2012, ending years of sobriety and pushing his relationship with Sharon to the brink of collapse.
The reality TV star has now opened up about the problems she faced persuading her stubborn husband to attend the sessions, revealing he would yell at the therapist in fits of petulant rage and disappear to the bathroom to waste time.
She tells Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper, "(It was) unbearable. ... He hated it. When this therapist would bring stuff up he was doing, Ozzy would get angry with me and I was like 'Don't get angry with me. You are the [expletive] doing it!' After sessions Ozzy would argue with the therapist: 'You don't know me. Why are you saying this? You have never met me.' He'd come out angry and wouldn't talk next day. The sessions were supposed to last an hour and a half and Ozzy spent half an hour peeing. ... He doesn't have to pee. It is an excuse, because his attention span is two seconds. ... We went for a month. That was it. It is not worth it. It was too much stress."
