This Even Stevens star is indeed, all grown up.
Taking on possibly his most mature role yet, Shia LaBeouf has confirmed that for his upcoming flick, The Nymphomaniac, nothing is off limits, including the script's real sex scenes.
"[The movie] is what you think it is," LaBeouf, 26, told MTV News on Wednesday about the Lars von Trier-directed flick. "For instance, there's a disclaimer at the top of the script that basically says we're doing it for real. Everything that is illegal, we'll shoot in blurred images. Other than that, everything is happening."
Added the former Disney Channel star of his willingness to do the controversial role, "[Von Trier] is very dangerous. He's the most dangerous dude that I've ever showed up for. I'm terrified. I'm so terrified, which is why I have to go. We'll see what happens."
Von Trier, who also directed the 2011 drama Melancholia starring Keira Knightley, Alexander Skarsgard and Kirsten Dunst, plans to create two versions of the film -- one explicit, one less X-rated. The Nymphomaniac will follow a woman who "discovers her hidden erotic desires," and according to IMDB.com, Nicole Kidman, Willem Dafoe and Charlotte Gainsbourg have already signed on.
