Jessica Simpson has slammed revamped U.S. TV series "Melrose Place" for its "c**p" screenwriting, just weeks after her sister Ashlee was axed from the show.
Ashlee Simpson-Wentz landed a role as Violet Foster on the remake of the 1990s soap opera earlier this year (09), but it was announced last month (Oct09) that her character would be cut as part of a plot revamp.
And the actress/singer made her feelings for the teen program known when she took to her Twitter.com page on Monday (02Nov09) to blast the TV scriptwriters and praise her sister for making the show more interesting.
She wrote, "Catching up on MP (Melrose Place). Who writes this c**p? I have had bad scripts to work with, but this? thank God my sister is amazing and got you some press (sic)."
