Gavin DeGraw checked into a hospital early Monday morning following a brutal assault.
A spokesperson for the NYPD confirmed to ET that the assault took place in New York City between 3:50 and 4:20 a.m. on Monday. Gavin was punched on the street and suffered a broken nose and facial contusions. He later admitted himself into Bellevue Hospital Center where he is currently recovering.
This incident takes place in the middle of Gavin's tour with Train and Maroon 5. They are scheduled to perform Tuesday night in Saratoga Springs, NY but Gavin's publicist tells us that he won't be able to perform.
