Taylor Swift has reached out to the family of a dead Marine by sending them flowers and a personal note.
Sgt. Wade Wilson passed away while fighting in Afghanistan this month, and Wilson's friend, Corporal Josh Marreel, recorded a YouTube video to ask Swift to honor his pal.

In the video, Marreel says, "This is a shout out to the one and only Taylor Swift. I know you have no idea who I am but this video isn't about me. This is about good buddy, Sgt. Wade D. Wilson, who was killed in action (on) Friday, May 11, 2012 in Afghanistan. Anybody that knew Willy knew that he worshiped you. He even slept with a post of you in between our beds in Afghanistan."

The singer has now offered to wear Wilson's army dog tags in her next video and sent a bunch of flowers to his grieving family, according to TV station KBTX.

Along with the flowers, Swift sent a note reading, "Wade, thanks for loving my music. I won't forget it and I will never forget you. All my love, Taylor Swift."
