Amber Portwood's "time out" behind bars is over. The "Teen Mom" personality was released from Madison County Detention Center in Indiana on Tuesday afternoon.
Portwood was sent to the slammer on Monday for a 24-hour hold after being charged with felony domestic battery and child neglect. She was being held on a $5,000 bond. The court automatically entered a plea of not guilty for the reality star prior to her release, says People.com.
The investigation into Portwood began after MTV aired an episode that showed her hitting Gary Shirley, the father of her child, in front of their 2-year-old daughter Leah.
