Portwood's plea deal initially required her to move into a halfway house, but on Thursday, Tonya said her daughter was "happy and relieved" the court allowed her to live with her grandparents. "Now she will get to spend more time with her daughter [Leah, 3], which is what this was all about anyway."

Once Portwood successfully completes eight months of rehab, she is required to get a full-time job -- one that doesn't involve TV cameras. Should Portwood violate her probation, the MTV star faces a maximum of five years in prison on her felony drug possession charge.

Portwood is "so happy she's home and around family who love her deeply," her mom tells E! News.
