At least no tables were flipped!
Teresa Giduice wasn't aware her fellow Real Housewives of New Jersey costars had turned against her. On Sunday, Jacqueline Laurita called her "scum" via Twitter, but on Tuesday, Giudice fired back.
"The whole time we were filming, I had no idea what other people were saying about me," she wrote on her BravoTV.com blog. (Sources have told Us Weekly, however, that Giudice's blog is written by a ghostwriter.) "I just assumed they were all my friends."
Giudice was accused by Laurita of spreading the rumor that her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga was once a stripper. "[Teresa] wanted [Melissa] out," Laurita tweeted. "She plotted it. She played dumb on camera and even defended Melissa." (Gorga adamantly denies that she was ever a stripper, and her former employer at Lookers Gentleman's Club, Larry Guarino, told Us she was "a bartender" but "never a dancer.")
In Giudice's blog, she cleared up what she said about Gorga. "I only joked that her body was 'On Display' because during the performance she was touching herself 'downtown,'" she explained. "And I was shocked! I wasn't expecting that to be part of her choreography! It was just a joke. She did a great job. And I was so proud of my husband for congratulating her publicly."
Giudice also addressed "the craziness on Twitter" in her blog. "I don't think it's a very healthy place to be right now," she said. "So I'm going to slowly slip out of it, and maybe take a little break for a while."
And although the Huffington Post reported Laurita and Caroline Manzo had been axed from The Real Housewives of New Jersey's fifth season, a Bravo spokesperson assured Us Monday that no one has been given a pink slip -- yet.
"All five cast members will be featured on season four," a rep said. "No decisions have been made about season five at this time."
