Ben Flajnik may have been smitten with Courtney Robertson's heartfelt faux wedding vows on Monday's episode of The Bachelor, but little did he know, those words had been spoken previously…by none other than Sex and the City's Sarah Jessica Parker!
Taking Flajnik, 29, home to meet her parents in Scottsdale, Ariz., during a hometown date, the 28-year-old model set up an elaborate mock wedding ceremony at a local park and coaxed Flajnik into writing his own vows.
Making a big show of finally telling Flajnik she loved him on The Bachelor, Robertson failed to note that her vows came courtesy of Sex and the City writer/director Michael Patrick King.
"I'm looking for love. Real, passionate, can't-live-without-each-other-love. When I look at you from across the room, I know that the key to your happiness is the key to mine. Ben, I want to love you and treat you right. Every day and every night," Robertson told him during their "rustic" outdoor ceremony, complete with a stand-in officiant. "I hope you know I'm 100% ready for marriage and so happy I found you. I want you to know that I'm in love with you."
The first line of Robinson's heartfelt monologue should sound familiar to the SATC diehards, who will recognize it from a scene where Carrie Bradshaw (Parker) broke up with then-boyfriend Alexander in the episode titled "An American Girl in Paris (Part Deux)."
"I am someone who is looking for love. Real love. Ridiculous, inconvenient, consuming, can't-live-without-each-other-love," the actress told Alexander (Mikhail Baryshnikov) in the heartfelt scene that took place in a Paris hotel room.
Duping Flajnik with her faux vows, Robertson -- who also went braless on a date and begged him to skinny dip with her in Panama -- is willing to do whatever it takes to be the last woman standing on The Bachelor.
"Courtney is like a black widow," a source tells Us Weekly. "She enjoys getting the prize and moving on. She doesn't care how bad she looks."
