"Check your mirrors for bikers before you change lanes people. It's annoying when picking yourself off the tarmac to hear 'didn't see you.'" That was Ewan McGregor's Twitter advice to motorists on Wednesday after a car struck him on the road. It wasn't the first such accident for McGregor, who appeared in two documentary series featuring him and a pal trekking around the world on motorbikes: he totalled a bike back in 2000, WENN reports, and broke his leg in a similar accident in 2007.
This time, he tweeted: "I'm wasn't (sic) knocked down but bumped into. Just keep your eyes in your mirrors. Bikers are vulnerable," he added. "And very cool."
