Several eyewitnesses claim the hip-hop star approached Mayweather outside a burger restaurant and threw a punch after the two exchanged words. It is not clear what started the argument.

Bodyguards for both men intervened as the altercation became more heated, and grainy footage of the incident -- obtained by TMZ -- appears to show a chair being hurled across the crowd by an unidentified brawler.
Las Vegas Police Department officers, who arrived as Mayweather was leaving and after T.I. had left the scene, said one man was injured but refused treatment and declined to co-operate with the investigation.
A representative for T.I. has refused to comment on reports of the fight.
