Toronto's mayor Rob Ford may be one of the elite few who holds a golden ticket to tonight's 86th Annual Academy Awards. The Canadian politician is believed to be a guest of late night show host Jimmy Kimmel, who picked up the controversial mayor at LAX airport while dressed as a limo driver.
After touching down in Los Angeles, Ford tweeted a photo of himself, Kimmel and his entourage with the caption, "Landed safe and sound in L.A.," He added, "Thanks @JimmyKimmel for the warm reception and the drive from LAX cc."
Rob, who brought along his entourage including key aides Dan Jacobs, Jerry Agyemang and Amin Massoudi, and two brothers, Doug Ford and Randy Ford, is slated to make an appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on Monday night. And while there has been no official statement whether the admitted drug user will be attending the Oscars -- rumors are swirling that Rob Ford and his entourage will be the funnyman's guests at the prestigious awards ceremony.
