Yolanda Foster is down, but she's not out! "The Real Housewife of Beverly Hills" star is vowing to stay positive in her fight with Lyme disease, despite being hospitalized again.
The reality star, and mother to "it" models Gigi and Bella Hadid, took to Instagram on June 10 to show a picture of her laying in a hospital bed. But, despite her weak appearance, Yolanda captioned the photo with positivity.
"Being Positive in a Negative situation isn't naive, it's leadership on a mission...... #DeterminedToFindACure #AffordableForAll #ChronicLymeDiseaseAwareness," she wrote of the selfie showing her hooked up to medical equipment.
On June 9, the reality star showed her 965,000 Instagram followers that she had been admitted into the hospital, posting an image of her in a hospital gown and a hair net, whole holding up a "peace sign" with her right hand.
"Until you are broken you don't really know what you're made of……" she wrote.
Since being diagnosed with Lyme disease three years ago, Yolanda has often documented her battle. Her quest to find a cure has taken her all over the world.
She remains resilient, but she isn't blind to the challenges. This past January, she revealed that she was unable to read or write due to complications with the disease. "I unfortunately have lost the ability to do [write] in an intelligent matter at this time," she posted in a message to bravotv.com. "It feels like someone came in and confiscated my brain and tied my hands behind my back to just watch and see life go by without me participating in it."
Ever the fighter, Yolanda always seems to be optimistic. On June 11, a day after her hospital selfie, she posted an image to Instagram of a tranquil beach setting, writing, "Good morning...... #BrandNewDay."
Keep your head up, girl!
