Alec Baldwin's alleged stalker loses bid to drop charge
A woman accused of stalking Alec Baldwin has lost her bid to have the charges against her dismissed. The judge denied the request on Wednesday.
Genevieve Sabourin was arrested in April, after allegedly turning up outside the "30 Rock" star's New York City home, and she was left facing a number of harassment and stalking charges.

Baldwin claimed he enjoyed a night out with the 40 year old in 2010 and was subsequently bombarded with emails and unwelcome visits.
Sabourin's lawyers filed a motion asking a judge to throw out the charges against her, claiming her communications with Baldwin were protected under the First Amendment, which allows freedom of speech.

However, Judge Mark White at Manhattan Criminal Court in New York refused the request and set another court date for Nov. 27, 2012.
If the two parties are unable to reach an out-of-court settlement, the case will go to trial.
