According to People magazine's recent cover story chronicling the star's "private pain," he has been unable to see Suri since their getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth due to work commitments on the sci-fi thriller "All You Need Is Kill," which has been filming in London.
"He's wanted to see her as fast as possible since this started," a source told the mag. "He couldn't shut down production, cost people their jobs. People count on him."
Holmes retained primary custody of Suri after securing a lightning-fast divorce from Cruise. Suri recently started attending classes at the swanky Avenues school in Manhattan.
