Back in May, Brad Pitt admitted his brood of six with Angelina Jolie had started asking about marriage, explaining, "It's meaning more and more to them."
Turns out the tots' matrimonial curiosity hasn't waned in the intervening months, thanks to the popularity of a certain crankypants green ogre.
"They have asked, yeah, because ... people get married in the movies ... the happily ever after," Angelina, 36, says during a sit-down with "Nightline" airing Monday. "Shrek and Fiona are married, you know?"
So, how do the world's most famous parents put their nearly seven-year relationship in terms Maddox, 10, Pax, 8, Zahara, 6, Shiloh, 5, and 3-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox can understand?
"We've explained to them that our commitment, when we decided to start a family, was the greatest commitment you could possibly have," responds Angie. "Once you have six children, you're committed."
