Jeremy Renner offers big reward for missing French bulldog puppy

  • Jeremy Renner has already lost one furry friend, and he's doing everything he can to get another one home safely. The actor (and new dad) is offering a $5,000 reward in hopes of ensuring the safe return of his year-old French bulldog, Hemi, reports People.

Renner's adorable and "very friendly" pup escaped from his Runyon Canyon home on July 19 after a power outage opened the front gate. Unfortunately, Hemi wasn't microchipped or wearing his tags when he went missing, and he requires daily medication for a hip problem.

In addition to blanketing the area with fliers and phone calls in hopes of tracking down the 25-pound, black-masked fawn tail-wagger, Jeremy has created a Facebook page to aid in the search.

The star brought home Hemi and his brother, Bentley, last year, just a few months after he lost his 8-month-old French bulldog puppy, Franklin, to a heart attack caused by overheating (the dog was in the care of a friend at the time).
