Is Demi Moore trying to get her groove back in a post-Ashton Kutcher world, or is she trying to convince herself that 50 is the new 21? Maybe it's some self-esteem-based combination of both.
The rehabbed actress partied down in Miami on Wednesday night at a Chanel-sponsored bash at the annual Art Basel fest, showing off her awkward dance moves as she hung out with the likes of Lenny Kravitz and Stacy Keibler.
Clad in a patterned mini-romper that served up plenty of thigh, a bespectacled and Kabbalah bracelet-sporting Demi danced for the cameras in front of a table strewn with cans of Red Bull.
"Demi was wild and crazy and having the time of her life," an onlooker tells People, "in a world all of her own."
Unfortunately, her rug-cutting has not improved from that cringe-y time she boogied onstage with Snoop, and her all-out commitment to fun led the New York Daily News to dub her antics "somewhat unhinged," and the London Daily Mail to call them "very bizarre." At one point, she grabbed a handful of hair and held it in front of her face.
"She was most ready to party than anyone else in the room," a source tells E! News.
Despite Moore's apparent coziness with Kravitz, her affections were reserved for her new squeeze, Vito Schnabel, 26. E! says they were "publicly making out" at the shindig.
"They are definitely a couple," asserts the spy. "She is definitely more down to party than Vito."
The purported PDA comes on the heels of a report from People that Demi's 24-year-old daughter, Rumer, is "pretty annoyed" about the budding romance because she's friendly with Schnabel.
The not-quite-ex Mrs. Kutcher was first spied with the art scion last month at a Naomi Campbell-hosted birthday bash in India, where they were reportedly "dancing and grinding all over each other, openly, in front of other guests."
