K.Cav: Family comes before career
Kristin Cavallari's devotion to her family has deprived an eager world of her thespian talents, which she's displayed in such award-winning fare as 2007's "Cheerleader Camp," a 2008 episode of "CSI: New York" (surprisingly, she did not play a corpse) and the 2009 Rumer Willis classic "Wild Cherry."
The onetime "Hills" blonde tells the latest issue of Coco Eco (via People) that she's put her acting career on hold to remain close to Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler and their 8-month-old son, Camden.
"I've passed on a couple of things that would have kept me here in L.A. because my fiancé Jay has to be in Chicago, so if I was here, we would never see each other," she explains. "The sacrifices we make for love …"
Those sacrifices also include her fashion collection, which she manages to squeeze in when she's not focused on her domestic life and planning her rumored summer wedding.
"It's easy to get wrapped up in your career and have that be your only focus, and I want my marriage to work and last -- and family comes first," insists Kristin. "The design work is great because I can do most of it from Chicago, and I have so much fun with it. I love it and it all works out."
