Has Scarlett Johansson's love of body art helped land her a new boyfriend? The actress, who split from advertising exec Nate Naylor last month, is now seeing a French journalist named Romain Dauriac, says the New York Post.
Word is, he's mutual friend of tattoo artist Fuzi Uvtpk, best known as the guy who recently defaced ScarJo's ribcage with a honkin' horseshoe tattoo emblazoned with the words "Lucky you."
According to the paper, Dauriac has an original Uvtpk ink stain of his own, reading "Lost illusions" (we're gonna go out on a limb and say it's probably hard to maintain a sense of world-weary ennui when you're dating a famous hottie).
Johansson, who turns 28 on Thanksgiving Day, is rumored to have met Dauriac, 30, last month in Paris, and she was reportedly cozying up with him over dinner in New York on Nov. 15.
They were "lovey-dovey and holding hands under the table all night," relays an onlooker at the Beatrice Inn. "They were holding each other while outside smoking in the cold."
Scarlett's rep did not respond to our request for comment on the hookup rumblings.
Romain, who's described as "dark-haired and slightly taller than [Johansson] but skinny," is the former editor of an art journal and now works for a creative agency.
Considering that Naylor is an advertising exec, Scarlett seems to have a weakness for non-famous artistic-business types.
The former Mrs. Ryan Reynolds ended her nearly yearlong romance with Naylor in early October, a few weeks after she was photographed holding hands with onetime flame Jared Leto at the Democratic National Convention ("Just friends," insisted her rep).
