Sometimes, you just have to step back and admire certain tabloid reports for the things of beauty they are. Case in point: The London Daily Mail claims that Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux have postponed their vow-swap from May to late summer because they can't agree on what kind of celebration to have.
"They're looking forward to the wedding, but they have different ideas about the actual wedding itself," maintains a source. "It's not to do with them as a couple -- they're madly in love. Every time you see them, they've got their arms around each other."
The purported problem?
"Jen wants something bigger with all their friends," explains the snitch. "Justin would just like something a bit more intimate."
Those differing "I do" designs, combined with Jen's busy work schedule, have supposedly led her to put "all planning" on the back burner for now.
"At this point, we're expecting the wedding to be at the end of the summer, just before Labor Day weekend," tattles the spy.
Here's where the beauty part of this story comes in: Aniston, 44, and Theroux, 41, haven't said a peep about when they plan to tie the knot, so the tale, whether baloney or based in fact, comes off as fairly believable, or at least hard to disprove.
That is, until the insider adds, "Jen and Justin have been totally relaxed about the wedding planning."
So, to clarify: They have diametrically opposed ideas on how they want to commit to forever, but they're totally laidback about the impasse.
The official word?
"There is no reason to believe any rumors about Jennifer," her rep tells Wonderwall. "When was the last time you read something about her that was actually true? We stopped responding to all of the rumors because they are endless."
Last week, the actress informed "Extra" that she'd yet to select a wedding dress, and that it would likely be a "last-minute" decision because she likes to be "very spontaneous."
