The last tiny ember of hope we had that Charlize Theron wasn't really hitching her wagon to the oft-rage-filled star that is Sean Penn pretty much died out this weekend. On the heels of their recent together-time in Hawaii and Los Angeles, the Oscar-winning duo were snapped doing that most everyday couple activity: making a coffee run (photo at left).
With Penn, 53, behind the wheel of Theron's Lexus SUV, the actress, 38, ran into a Starbucks outpost on Saturday and emerged with a trio of delicious caffeinated beverages. The pair, who have been friendly for about a decade, had reportedly just come from spending Friday night at Sean's Malibu home.
"They both were smiling," a bystander tells People, "very happy and relaxed."
On Sunday evening, they took in a showing of "The Wolf of Wall Street" before heading back to Charlize's Hollywood Hills digs, says E! News. A spy notes they "looked like a normal couple" and "seemed really casual and comfortable."
Neither star has commented on the dating speculation.
"They are spending night after night together and moving very fast," effuses an E! snitch. "It seems like it's getting serious, and that they can't get enough of each other."
