Jennifer Hudson, Bruce Springsteen Join Global 'Hope for Haiti' Benefit

The biggest names in music around the world -- including Bruce Springsteen, Jennifer Hudson, Sting, Coldplay and Wyclef Jean -- will unite for "Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief," the global telethon being co-organized by George Clooney airing this Friday at 8/7c.

ET has learned that during the two-hour fundraiser Wyclef, Springsteen, Hudson, Mary J. Blige, Shakira and Sting will appear in New York City; Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, Dave Matthews, John Legend, Justin Timberlake, Stevie Wonder, Taylor Swift and a group performance by Keith Urban, Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow will rock Los Angeles; and Coldplay and a group performance by Bono, The Edge, Jay-Z and Rihanna will take place in London.
Best of all, the musical performances will be available for purchase for $.99 per song in Apple's iTunes Store beginning Saturday, January 23, with all proceeds benefiting Haiti relief funds managed by "Hope for Haiti Now" charities.
Guided by Clooney in L.A., Wyclef in New York City and CNN's Anderson Cooper reporting from Haiti, "Hope for Haiti Now" is airing on an unprecedented number of stations including ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, CNN, BET, The CW, HBO, MTV, VH1, and CMT. It will also feature more than 100 of the biggest names in film, TV and music supporting the cause with testimonials and by answering phones during the telethon.
Relief organizations that will benefit from the telethon include The Clinton Bush Haiti Fund and United Nations World Food Programme, Oxfam America, Partners in Health, The Red Cross, UNICEF, and Yele Haiti Foundation. Proceeds will be split evenly among each organization's individual funds for Haiti earthquake relief.
