'Sex and the City' Ladies Forming Girl Group?
The versatile women of "Sex and the City" are honing their singing skills.
Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Samantha (Kim Cattrall), Charlotte (Kristin Davis) and Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) will be singing on a track for their upcoming sequel 'Sex and the City 2.' The gals will be performing the Helen Reddy classic “I Am Woman.”
In addition to the 'SATC' ladies, Broadway icon Liza Minnelli is singing two songs on the soundtrack, one being a cover of Beyonce's track "Single Ladies."
Pop stars Alicia Keys, Dido and former 'Sex and the City' actress Jennifer Hudson also appear on the album. 'Sex and the City 2' is scheduled to hit theaters May 27.
