October is finally here, and that means Oktoberfest, the annual celebration of all things German (most importantly: beer, sausage, and lederhosen), is right around the corner. In honor of this sacred tradition, we're taking a look at the stars most likely to stock up on extra sauerkraut, dust off their finest dirndl, and pop open a frothy German import to celebrate their heritage. Sandra may have been born near our nation's capital, in the suburbs of Washington, D.C., but the actress takes great pride in her German heritage. Her parents met while her father, John, was stationed in Nuremberg, Germany, while working for the military postal service, and her mother, Helga, was a German opera singer. Growing up, Sandra split her time between America and Germany, accompanying her mother on various European opera tours, until she was 12. Sandra became one of the most successful actresses in Hollywood, but as a child, she was teased for wearing "frumpy" German clothes. Sandy's fluent in the language, and now that she's a mom herself, her son has started picking up his grandmother's native tongue. Louis has even been overheard telling the paparazzi not to take his photo -- in German.
