Any Friday night that kicks off with a cocktail-enhanced argument with strangers in a tattoo shop, as Nicolas Cage's did, is likely to end badly. As more details emerge about the events leading up to his Saturday arrest in New Orleans, it's no surprise that things went downhill after his tat shop visit (which was caught on video). A bartender tells People he saw Cage "running around and screaming in the street," that evening. And by the end of the night, the actor and his wife, Alice Kim, were reportedly fighting loudly.
A local street performer who saw their exchange says, "He had mistaken the house of my neighbors for the other house up the block that he is actually renting. His wife was trying to persuade him from disturbing the elderly couple who do in fact live in that house." Eventually, police arrived and Cage was arrested for public drunkenness, domestic abuse battery and disturbing the peace. He's due in court to face charges May 31. (People)
