Shia LaBeouf protects his girlfriend's mom by head-butting a pub patron
In today's News of the Utterly Unshocking, Shia LaBeouf got into another bar fight. This time, he was hanging out at the Hobgoblin pub in South London with his girlfriend, Mia Goth, and her mom, when another dude in the bar said something he deemed offensive to Mia's mother.
"What'd you say about my girl's mom?" a slurring LaBeouf can be heard saying on a video published by TMZ. "Are you f------ kidding me, bro?" Rather than wait for an answer, the 27-year-old actor then proceeds to head butt the guy as 20-year-old Mia and a few other women nearby pull the two apart, chastise LaBeouf and warn the other man not to "play smart."
TMZ later shared video of LaBeouf apologizing, although his apparent inebriation sorta takes center stage over the mea culpa. "I'm not trying to have, like, any more problems. Like, I'm really just trying to make peace," he says. "I'm a normal human being. Look, I accept what I get into to do what I love. I'm not trying to s--- on nobody. I'm a human being, you know what I mean? I'm super normal. Like more normal than most. When people wanna get hostile, or s--- on my girl's mom, or say things that are out of turn …"
At that point, a woman in the background chimes in, "she shot me first," to which LaBeouf agrees, saying, "Roger, roger. And I'm sorry about that. I got no control over that. I'm just trying to make peace, you know?"
In recent years, LaBeouf has been implicated in numerous bar fights. He recently tweeted that he was "retiring from public life" following a spate of plagiarism accusations.
