OK, America. Time to quit your polar vortex belly aching. After trekking to the South Pole in Antarctica as part of the Walking With the Wounded Challenge, Alexander Skarsgard stripped down to his boots (and sat down on an outdoor potty with a good book while his team's guide memorialized the moment with a photo.
"#southpole -30C What are you reading Alex? The script for season 7 of #truebloodHBO?" wrote Inge Solheim alongside this Instagram photo, which, when not cropped for our lovely viewers, shows his full booty and a raised toilet seat cover.
The clothes-eschewing actor famously capped off Season 6 of "True Blood" with some outdoor full frontal nudity, which Stephen Moyer told E! News was not actually mandated by the script. "It was never written to have him full frontal. Alex doesn't like wearing his 'sock' or the 'sack of destiny' as we call it. It's the sack of destiny that covers everything," said Moyer. "He doesn't like wearing those, so he had one in his room that day, [but] he was the one who chose not to wear it."
But then, as Skarsgard explained to Conan O'Brien last summer, he comes from a long line of nudist-oriented folk. "My dad and his side of the family are old hippies," he said on the talk show."I was 14 the first time I saw my dad wearing pants."
