Pierce Brosnan's co-stars send their love following his daughter's death
Pierce Brosnan's 41-year-old daughter, Charlotte, lost her fight with ovarian cancer on Friday, a fate her mother succumbed to in 1991. After hearing the news, tweets began pouring in from concerned friends and co-stars.
Stephanie Zimbalist, who co-starred with Brosnan on "Remington Steele," mourned Charlotte's passing on Facebook, writing, "Sad news to announce. Please join us in sending love, prayers and sympathy to Pierce Brosnan and his family for the death of his daughter Charlotte."
Olivia Munn, Brosnan’s "I Don't Know How She Does It," co-star, tweeted, "My deepest condolences to Pierce Brosnan and his family for the loss of his daughter to ovarian cancer."
In announcing his loss, Brosnan tweeted: "Charlotte fought her cancer with grace and humanity, courage and dignity. Our hearts are heavy with the loss of our beautiful dear girl. We pray for her and that the cure for this wretched disease will be close at hand soon," the actor continues. "We thank everyone for their heartfelt condolences."
