Kimye's new Bel Air mansion outfitted with $1 million worth of luxury beds
Is North West sleeping on a crib made of "cashmere, carded Virgin lamb's wool and Mongolian horse hair?" If not, the 1-month-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West apparently has some serious luxury to look forward to when she graduates to a grown-up bed. The Daily Mail reports that Kimye went shopping a Savoir Beds, where they reportedly picked up six of the famous, new Royal State Beds, each of which costs more than $175,000.
The beds made headlines in June after 60 of special editions were made to commemorate Queen Elizabeth II's 60-year reign. The beds are bespoke, with silk, cashmere and horse tail hair coming from various parts of the world. And while the details of Kimye's order have not been confirmed, Alistair Hughes, the managing director of Savoir Beds, did speak to the Daily Mail about the couple's interest in his product. "As a rule we never discuss clients' particular orders. Suffice to say, with a bed like this Kim and Kanye will have little excuse to leave their bedroom," he said. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge ...
