Josh Brolin brawled with cabbie before bouncer dustup
Friday night was a tough one for Josh Brolin. Prior to getting into a fight with a bouncer at O'Brien's Irish Pub in Santa Monica, Calif., the 45-year-old actor apparently bawled out a cab driver whom he'd rear-ended at a nearby Taco Bell. TMZ obtained video footage of both incidents, and while the bouncer run-in ended with the two men hugging, the cabbie fight got ugly and stayed that way. According to the video, Brolin rear-ended the cab while going through the fast food joint's drive-through. When the driver pointed to what he believed was damage to his car, Brolin began yelling and cursing, finally hollering, "you suck as a cab driver," before leaving the scene of the accident, apparently because he believed the "scratches" he saw were pre-existing.
On Monday, TMZ chased down Brolin again to ask about the bar dustup (in which the actor allegedly began throwing punches -- none of which actually hit anyone -- when he was told the bar was closing) and his well-documented drinking habit. "It won't be happening again, I can guarantee it," he said. "That's it, I'm completely done."
