Lauren Conrad in Allure: 'Anyone in the Public Eye is Going to Be Hated'
Talk about a tough lesson to learn -- especially in high school. With her "Hills" past far behind her, Lauren Conrad opens up to Allure about how it felt to have haters across the country when she was still a teen. "People felt that a lot of the things I had were undeserved, maybe because I didn't have a specific talent; I was more of a regular girl and maybe didn't deserve the attention," she says, referring to her time on MTV's hit show. "I think anyone in the public eye is going to be hated, and a lesson that I needed to learn quickly is that it is impossible to please everybody." (Allure)
