Mel Gibson has been accused of harboring anti-Semitic sentiments on more than one occasion. Screenwriter Joe Eszterhas, Mel's former friend and writing partner, wrote in his e-book, "Heaven and Mel," that the Oscar winner even called the Holocaust "mostly a lot of horses---." While Mel hasn't quite gone so far as to suggest the entire Holocaust was a giant conspiracy, he has questioned the accuracy of just how many people died during World War II and belittled the atrocity. "I mean, when the war was over, they said it was 12 million. Then it was six. Now it's four," he said. "It's that kind of numbers game."
