Cape Fear: Oh, how we adore Julianne Moore (heck, we adore her so much we're rhyming). As she stands at the edge of the half-century mark, she makes the aging process look like a piece of cake, or, more specifically, like a Twinkie, which is always fresh and delicious. And over the last several months, the Titian-tressed thespian has grown increasingly fearless in her couture choices, modeling one bold choice after another. But here's the thing: Fear is sometimes a useful emotion. A particularly good time to start shaking in your shoes is when you slip on a gown with a built-in back brace and matching cape (after all, no less than the world's foremost fashion expert has declared capes outmoded). And the moment your blood should turn ice-cold: If the gown with the built-in back brace and matching cape is also covered with a virulent (but campy and silkily retro) strain of poison ivy.
Julianne's contagious pink couture wasn't her only red-carpet risk in recent days. Click on for more ...
