Slumdog Million-Err: Freida Pinto, you really don't need to try so hard. In case no one has mentioned it to you lately, you're gorgeous. And it's not the kind of gorgeous you get from two hours in a makeup chair. No, this is the kind that happens when you roll out of bed, wipe the drool from your mouth and clear the sleep from your eyes. Voila -- gorgeousness. So, why all the lily-gilding with this unnecessarily complicated silver and black dress? With an erratically ruffled layered skirt, a bodice that seems to have started life as a tuxedo-imprinted bib, and enough piping to launch a plumbing business, this cluttered number needs serious pruning (except for those holey sides). A gussied-up dress is fine; a fussied-up one is not. Our advice: Tone it down, way down, which just happens to be the same direction your messily piled-up tresses should go.
