Gary Coleman, May 28, age 42: Coleman was a superstar child actor with cherubic looks and a great sense of comic timing. He became a big star as Arnold on "Diff'rent Strokes," which ran from 1978 to 1985, and his signature line -- "Whatchu talkin' 'bout, Willis?" -- became a pop culture catchphrase. Coleman suffered from an autoimmune kidney disease, which limited his height to 4'8" and led to his needing dialysis daily. Later he was never able to achieve the stardom of "Diff'rent Strokes," though he ran for California governor in 1993, finishing eighth in a field of 135. Coleman suffered from seizures because of his condition, and he fell at his Utah home in May, which led to his death. Of fame, he once said, "I don't hurt or want for visibility, but people seem to forget pretty easily." Forget you? Whatchu talkin' 'bout, Gary?
