For the past 20 years, Christina Aguilera has been entertaining audiences across the world. Not bad for someone who turns 32 on Dec. 18! So to celebrate, let's take a look back at how Xtina went from Mouseketeer to "Dirrty" girl to mom and multi-hyphenate superstar.
Christina Marie Aguilera was born to parents Fausto and Shelly in Staten Island, N.Y., on Dec. 18, 1980. An Army brat due to her father's enlistment in the service, Christina moved around a lot until her parents divorced when she was 6. At that point, Christina moved with her mother and her sister Rachel to her grandmother's home in Wexford, Penn. Christina was a regular at local talent shows, where she was known as "the little girl with the big voice." On March 15, 1990, she went on "Star Search," coming in second for her performance of "A Sunday Kind of Love."
