TMZ says the day the paparazzo was killed, he told a pal that he'd just seen Bieber smoking some sort of pipe-like, pot-conveyance device while behind the wheel of his Ferrari.
But sources contend Guerra "flat-out lied" about that, and insist that he made the singer's "life hell" by "following and chasing him at every opportunity." That Bieber wasn't even in the car when the lensman was struck and killed by a passing vehicle simply heaps another layer of awfulness to the accident.
Guerra, 29, was "a sweet, cool guy," an insider adds to E! News. "You would never get into any scuffle or argument with him. ... He never wanted to piss off anybody, was nice to all the celebrities and paps. He never had a problem with any guys. He was not your ordinary mosquito. He wasn't a crazy pap. He would just get too excited."
